Suggestions when viewing these commentaries:
- Make sure to have your Bible open (whether you use a print edition or something online; consider using the Bible Gateway and setting it to the King James version).
- Although brother Slocumb's ministry is not-for-profit, YouTube is definitely for profit and will be prone to advertisements:
- Sometimes an advertisement will begin playing before he speaks ["Five words you pronounce wrong two years before your brain shuts down...!"]. Withing a few seconds, a button will appear that says "Skip." Learn where it usually appears so you can click it as soon as possible (as it will come up in the same spot each time).
- If you're viewing on a desktop or laptop, there will be a stack of other possible videos to watch displayed on the right side of the screen. Above them, will be some buttons, usually marked "All," "Shannon Church of Christ," and something like "For You." Click on the one for "Shannon Church of Christ" to have less distractions from ads, sponsored videos, political commentary, etc.
